Axion IDE and Nebula are now shared as installers
2026-10-31From now on, Axion IDE and Nebula Sound System are shared as installers, and as installers only.
What this means
- Every release comes as a normal Windows installer. Press Download installer on the project page.
- The page shows the SHA-256 checksum of each file. Compare it with your download before you run it; the page explains how, in one line.
- The source code is not published, and there are no loose program files or zip archives to download.
- Older downloads that were not installers have been taken off the site.
Why
An installer puts the program in the right place, adds a Start menu entry, and can be removed cleanly. It is also one file with one checksum, so it is easy to check that it is the file that was published.
Documentation and bugs
Both programs now have a manual here: Axion IDE and Nebula Sound System. If something goes wrong, report a bug and say which version you have; the version is on the download page and in the installer's file name.
